Interior Closet Doors Sliding

Painting the interior closet doors of your home is an easy way to increase its value and beautify. Paint and building materials are relatively cheap and the value they add is much greater than their cost. Painting the closet frame and trimming around is a great way to accentuate them and hide unwanted stains or damage on the surface.

Remove the frame interior closet doors from the frame by opening the door and unscrew the frame hinges. Paint the first frame of the door and let it dry. If the painting has been painted before, and downwards if you like, but this is totally optional since the primer adapts very well. Apply the paint with a flat brush 2 to 3 inches wide. Start at the top of the door frame with horizontal movements, then paint on one side of the structure with vertical strokes.

Make sure you paint the raised edge of the frame adjacent to the wall during this process. Repeat for the inside of the closet. Allow the first coat to dry for a few hours and then apply a second coat. Make sure all spots or stains are coated smoothly and evenly with the paint. Remove the tape while the paint is still wet, little by little, being careful not to tear loose paint from the wall. Allow the paint to dry for 24 hours before replacing the door, lock plate lock and hinges of the interior closet doors frame.
