How To Clean Quartz Kitchen Countertops
Quartz kitchen countertops add beauty to any room in the home. If an incorrect way, a quarter-worktop will last for many years. Cleaning quartz countertops is fast and easy. Common household products are used to clean quartz without damaging the surface. Quartz worktops are a type of constructed stone that combines granite with an artificial resin and thus create a cool, neutral stone that works well on the bench parts of the home. Like any other countertop, quartz should be cleaned at least once a week to maintain the attractive quartz appearance.
Fill the sink with warm water. Add a few drops of mild soap in the water. Use your hands to combine soap and water. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into soapy water. Turn the cloth or sponge away and wipe the quartz kitchen countertops. Rinse and twist out of the cloth or sponge frequently during cleaning. Allow wet cloth or sponge to stick to any sticky stains or tough to clean areas for a few minutes to loosen the grime. Apply detergent to a sponge or cloth and scrub countertops. Mixing equal parts of vinegar and water can also be used for tougher cleaning jobs.
Rinse the quartz kitchen countertops with a cloth and plain water after using all detergents. This will ensure that any soap or chemical residue is removed from the countertop. Wipe the bench with a dry cloth. Avoid using detergents containing bleach. Abrasive cleaner pillows should also be avoided. Run a cleaning sponge under hot water. Squeeze out the water from the sponge and wipe over quartz worktops. This removes most built-up and is all that is usually needed for weekly cleaning.
